Jolie Gui Zhang is a director and cinematographer based in New York and Virginia. She graduated from Wesleyan University with a B.A. in Film Studies and Computer Science. During her studies she developed a passion for film photography and now specializes in analog formats. Over the years she has served as cinematographer for several productions, both digital and film, and for her undergrad thesis she wrote and directed a 16mm short, edited entirely on Steenbeck flatbed machines.
